Sara Truman

What often drew me toward Sara’s ceramic pieces was the color. Her work is soft but solid and the presence of fruit images on much of her work gives the feeling of being at home with the art, like it could be sitting on a hardwood countertop somewhere, looking as good there as it does in a photograph. Her work is very welcoming and it was always a joy to photograph it.
